Groovy Mummy 1

It wasn't until the bump appeared and I felt heavy....and I mean heavy, my no.1 son was 9lb 4..hmmmmmm that I realised that I had nothing for me. The nursery was nice, the baby clothes cute, my maternity clothes were an evil necessity for the expanding waist and the baby paraphernalia was great but nothing made me feel pretty, funky or sexy. Nothing looked that good. Oh well, I was so excited that it did not matter, and when Zac arrived all was forgotten and I just got on with the lovely job of being Mummy, albeit not that groovy.

However, when I got pregnant second time, when Zac was 9 months old, I had all the baby stuff already and was just looking to see what I could get for baby no.2 and after extensive searching found the fabbiest changing bag ever, in fact I loved the changing bag so much that groovymummy.co.uk was born with Sacha.

Now I have my third child, Jemima, and Groovy Mummy continues to grow, albeit slowly - 3 kids take up a lot of time - but I continue to keep looking out for the best stuff for me and my kids and hope that you think so too. If you want something for you and/or your baby, this is the site. The products are so beautiful and unique that I promise you that you will never regret your little treat. I have searched the globe for changing mats (bum rugs), muslin squares (burp cloths), bibs, keepsake books/journals, blankets, soft toys and things for mums like me! Groovy Mummy No 2!

Well – I’ve known the original Groovy Mummy for nearly 12 years (where does the time go??) and after the birth of my first son Cameron (who was also a big baby at 9lb 3oz!) I paid her a visit for a much needed catch-up and glass of wine! I was complaining that after leaving my busy job in the City and then relocating to Scotland I didn’t have anything to keep my mind active (even though I can recite the whole tune to Thomas the Tank Engine!).So the lovely Groovy Mummy No 1 invited me to become Groovy Mummy No 2! I jumped at the chance as I have always loved treating myself and Cameron to all the glorious goodies that you can find on this site - everything is so original that your little one will certainly stand out from the crowd!

So now Groovy Mummy No 1 has a little helper, we look forward to bringing you even more gorgeous items from across the globe!
