Working with a Master Tea Blender, Mama Tea has taken the principles of traditional tea blending and applied them to herbal tea, in order to make each tea taste really good. Sometimes, if you use only one herb on its own or don’t blend it properly, the tea can taste a little bitter. As a result, they wanted each Mama Tea to be blended to taste good whilst making sure that they all tasted very different.

About this tea

This gorgeous blend celebrates all things new. We have used liquorice root to sweeten up this lovely tea, so perfect for those of you who have a sweet tooth and normally find herbal teas a bit bitter. This tea is flowing with other goodies such as fennel and fenugreek seeds, lemon balm, red clover and nettle leaf. Perfect to enjoy if you like fennel teas, sweet things or are a new mother (get someone else to make it for you though – you deserve it!) All mums-to-be will have to wait for this one though, as we don’t recommend this one during pregnancy. Don’t worry, you will get there though!

Tasting notes

Sweet liquorice instantly provides blessed relief, like a nap in the afternoon. This gives way to fennel and fenugreek, which swell to provide a warm, milky taste that leaves the palate full and satisfied.
